Nishi is a graduate student in the Department of Construction Management at Colorado State University. She joined the ConSEM Lab in Spring 2025. She has an undergraduate degree in Architecture and work experience of five years as an architect in more than fifty projects from large scale hospitality developments to residential and commercial buildings. Her research interests include Human factors in hazard detection, BIM project management, Safety analytics, Data driven decision making among others.
Germán is a final year undergraduate student at CSU. He joined ConSEM Lab in Spring 2025. He is currently working on the Susan Harwood Training program. His responsibilities include marketing the training program, recruiting trainees, and conducting administrative works for the program.

Alumni of ConSEM Lab
Alexis is a second-year student in the Stock Development Department of Construction Management at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). He worked in ConSEM Lab as an undergraduate research assistant from Fall 2023 to Spring 2024. During his tenure, Alexis worked on two different research projects. Alexis also published one conference paper and presented our findings in the conference.
